Industrial Cable Ties

Industrial cable ties, also called industrial zip ties, are widely used in the lifting and rigging, manufacturing, aerospace, and a number of other industries. There are two main types of industrial zip ties: 1/8th-inch diameter cables used to attach tags to wireless slings, and 1/16th-inch diameter cables used as a visual indicator of regulatory compliance and last inspection date.

The color of the cable tie head can be customized to meet your needs, and custom data such as serial numbers or dates can be printed on all six sides of the head.

Advantages of Industrial Zip Ties

Industrial cable ties can save your operators time by eliminating the need to manually cut their own cable and create loops to attach their tags. Industrial zip ties also tend to be more consistently high-performing and durable compared to simple cable loops.

Color-coded inspection ties are important for ensuring safety and compliance in industrial settings. Different color hex heads can be used to indicate the time frame of the latest inspection, and easily identify which slings are in compliance.

When placing your order, there are a variety of features you can customize. Select the cable diameter based on your needs–1/8th-inch cable ties are typically used to attach tags to slings, and 1/16th-inch cable ties are used as color-coded inspection ties.

You can choose between a variety of custom color options for the overmolded hex head. We keep 1/8th-inch blue cable ties in stock at all times, but can supply other colors to fit your needs.

Finally, tell us any custom data you need printed on the hex head. There are six sides available for printing, and each side can hold approximately six characters. Customers often want serial numbers, dates, company name, and/or contact information included. We use hot stamps or lasers to mark the hex head.
